Expert Support for Parenting Challenges

Parenting can be tough, but you don't have to do it alone. The Connection Project is a supportive service for parents and carers who require information and strategies with their child's behavioural differences and challenges. We are here to encourage, educate and provide practical advice for you to feel more empowered in your parenting in everyday life.

We offer specialised parent support which incorporates various therapeutic principles from models including, Marte Meo, trauma informed care, behaviour theory, CBT, ACT, child development, neuropsychology and neurodivergence. We offer a range of services for parents and carers to empower you with a deeper understanding of your child, and enable you to feel confident in managing the everyday moments, as well as the trickier times.

We believe that every parent deserves to have the tools and support they need to help their child thrive. The Connection Project offers practical, evidence-based strategies to empower parents in understanding and supporting their children's behavior. Our team of experienced behavior therapists are dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment where parents can find encouragement, comfort, and advice. Let us help you navigate the challenges of parenting with confidence and compassion.

our why

The Connection Project is the brain child of two Behaviour Therapists who saw a gap in services available for parents seeking support to understand their child’s behaviour.

After years of working as Behaviour Practitioners in the NDIS space it became clear to our team that to adequately support children with a disability, we need to support their parents. The fundamental support of a child is from their parent, and when the parent is empowered, the child will thrive.

We strive to embody and found all our work on these principles

our Mission

To empower parents, carers, and guardians with the tools, education, and support necessary to cultivate a nurturing environment where the next generation can thrive with love, self-awareness, and a deep sense of purpose, ultimately fostering well-developed individuals who contribute to a more compassionate world.

About Us

The Connection Project was founded by two experienced behaviour practitioners, Imogen and Chloe, who saw a need for specialised parent support services. Our core belief is that no one should ever feel alone in their parenting journey. We provide a safe space for sharing, listening and learning. We are passionate about empowering parents to support their child, foster strong connection and ultimately offer guidance to raise thriving children and create a more easeful and happier family unit.

We offer Marte Meo, which is a specialised and unique way of helping parents to support their child’s development. We use videos of everyday moments to identify, activate and develop skills to advance developmental processes and support areas of concern.
